Womens Group, Texas Hill Country Fly Fishing

This newly added event is the first Monthly Ladies Get-together of 2022. It is open to all, both experienced and certainly those that are new to fly fishing. 

The event program will begin with a complete overview of equipment needed to get started in fly fishing. Experienced fishermen will be ready to answer your questions with simple straight-forward instruction and review your equipment for completeness. 

Limited loaner equipment is available for first timer's but everyone is encouraged to bring your own so we can help perfect your rig.

Event Details:
Where:   Trout lease – next to The Resort at Fredericksburg, 3567 US-290 E, Fredericksburg, TX   Use The Resort entrance, continue on drive towards the event center.     The trout lease is a dirt entrance 100 yards to the left of the paved resort parking.   There will be a signs.  (AVOID GETTING STUCK! DO NOT DRIVE DOWN TO THE RIVERS EDGE; PARK ON THE DESIGNATED DIRT LOT. )

When:     March 31, 2022

What time:   4:30 - 7pm
4:30 - gather at the lease site.   There will be signage

4:30 - 5:30pm
Review of the Texas Hill Country fly fishing organization, women's events, New to fly fishing instruction, equipment overview and starter kit.    Instruction loaner equipment will be available on a limited basis.   Experienced caster’s may continue on to fish.

5:30 - 6:30 pm   Put your new skills to work with practice casting and fishing for trout and other native fish.

6:30 - 7:00 p.m.    Keep fishing OR step up to The Resort Tasting Room for some light snacks, glass of wine and camaraderie!

Snacks are provided along with soft drinks / water.    Wine will be available for purchase.
